A-ridin’ ole Paint
I am so grateful to those unconditional, loving and patient ears who have helped me move past my fear of singing in front of people. Music is an intrinsic part of who I am and my voice is one of my strongest attributes but fear, its a funny thing isn’t it? You can’t hold it, see it or touch it but my oh my you can feel it.
I will be stepping in as Laurey Williams, my first lead role at the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum’s production of “Green Grow the Lilacs” written by Lynn Riggs.

Green Grow the Lilacs is an old folk song from the mid-19th century, often known to be sung by the late great Tex Ritter. It is also the title of the 1931 play written by Lynn Riggs which inspired Rogers & Hammerstein’s musical Oklahoma!
